Curriculum Mapping & Alignment
Scenario:
You are trying to figure out how Speak Agent fits into your curriculum.
Background:
- Most education technology programs align to standards. Speak Agent aligns to both standards and to your curriculum. Each Speak Agent product is a set of configurable lesson sets. These can be sequenced and modified to suit.
- Classroom teachers do not need to do this. Neither do coaches, resource teachers, or district specialists. This is all handled by your trusty Speak Agents!
- You certainly can make your own modifications to your own Speak Agent implementation. Our platform empowers you to make copies and then add, remove, reorder, or edit most activities to further personalize and differentiate learning. You do not need to do this to assign a lesson as is.
How It Works:
- Your district and/or school leaders shares your curriculum and pacing guides with us, as relevant to the program(s) your district has purchased.
- Using those guides, we configure your Speak Agent product(s) to fit your curriculum framework. For example:
Speak Agent Module Your Curriculum Transformations module → Unit 01: Rigid Transformations Defining Functions module
Linear Functions module→ Unit 02: Functions Linear Equations module
Linear Systems module→ Unit 03: Linear Equations and Systems etc. etc. - Modules are sequenced, named, and merged or split to best conform to your curriculum. These become the digital lessons available to you and your students.
- Each lesson is tagged with keywords and grade-level standards such as CCSS, NGSS, NGSSS, TEKS, WIDA, and other relevant standards.
- Our Curriculum Alignment & Mapping service ensures you will not need to take additional time to find what lessons are relevant to the content you're teaching in the classroom. We've done that for you, identifying, naming, and ordering those modules accordingly. All you need to do is simply click "assign".
