Speak Agent Begins Beta Testing

The Speak Agent beta program is now live with select Maryland, DC and Virginia public and private schools serving grades K to 8. The invitation-only beta test supports ESL/ESOL and dual-language academic vocabulary instruction with customizable digital materials.

Our new series of how-to videos shows how beta participants can:

• Create custom  interactive digital lessons.
• Use the interactive lessons with students on tablets, laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, or interactive whiteboards.
• Manage student and class assignments.

Beta schools are participating in our NSF-funded Phase I study. The study requires only 30 minutes of each teacher’s time and does not collect any personally identifiable information from students.
